Avalon is a great public course. If there is any problem, that is it. Because it is so good, and public, and fairly priced, it is sometimes hard to get on. Reserve early, go play, you will have a great time.
The course has 3 nine-hole tracts. All are very nice. Great views. Great golf.
I recommend.

If you like real golf, with beautiful setting but not a bunch of make-believe doodads, this is it. Impeccable, relatively tough, intelligent design, great maintenance. If you want to party and play putt-putt golf, please stay away from this gem. I truly believe that this whips Semihamoo in golfing quality, and all my players agree. I could almost move to Burlington just to play there. I am 49, played since I have been 11, and this is truly my favorite course of all time.
